FLISSConnect

Welcome to FLISS!

FLISS (Female Leaders in STEM Subjects) is a UK-based mentoring charity founded in 2023. Our mission is to empower women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) through free, high-quality mentoring.

We focus on women at the start of their careers and those returning after a break, the pivotal moments where confidence can dip, opportunities can feel harder to access, and gender imbalance, bias and structural barriers are often most visible. Through personalised, practical mentoring, we support mentees to navigate these challenges, build clarity and momentum, and feel more confident progressing in STEM. We’re also building an inclusive, supportive community where members can learn from each other and thrive, strengthening the pipeline for the future of STEM.

For mentees, once you’ve completed sign-up, the FLISS Mentor Leads will review your profile and match you with an available mentors, based on your goals, background and preferences. If you’ve joined as a mentor, we’ll pair you with a mentee who is looking for the experience and support you can offer.

We’re really pleased you’re here, thank you for being part of the FLISS community.
